Marine Trader (MT) is a highly-respected industry publication read by an international audience. The challenge was to create a website that appealed to this wide target audience and promoted advertising, sponsorship and digital subscriptions to the magazine.
It was clear from the outset that the web presence needed to be multifaceted to push advertising, increase digital and print subscriptions to the magazine and cross-sell membership of the trade association that publishes the title.
We created a news portal that showcases the high-quality content of the magazine and presents the publication as an industry leader.
Since we also manage all of the email marketing for MT magazine, we integrated the subscription forms on the website with Campaign Monitor to manage their extensive email marketing programme.
Since the launch of the website in late 2014 the number of digital subscriptions to the magazine have increased by over 90% and the number of advertising leads received through the site have increased by 65%.
