The International Marine Trading Association (IMPA) is an association with an international membership base that utilises their website as a portal for industry information and resources.
Having previously updated the IMPA website in 2010, we were given the task of refreshing the site yet again to make it even easier to navigate and to increase membership subscriptions.
Following a programme of research with the client, we delivered a new design that encourages membership subscriptions by allowing limited access to the member resources to all visitors. Doing this allows potential subscribers the chance to see the great resources that IMPA has to offer as an incentive to sign up.
The whole user experience was also significantly improved for both new and paying visitors, with streamlined navigation and a simplified account management control panel.
Users can now access the site from any mobile device with the introduction of a responsive design that adapts to suit the device it’s being viewed on.
We also took the opportunity to move the site onto the Craft content management system and retained an integration with Salesforce.
